Working with Mi bebé y yo Program

Since 2018, the kind volunteers from Chapala and Ajijic, who organize Mi bebé y yo, visit San Pedro Itzicán to give out baby packages to Mums in their last trimester.

Thanks to volunteer Darlene Pike, for organizing the packages and helping to run this program. The mums are always so grateful!

At the recent July 2023 delivery, 46 expectant moms received some lovely baby care packages. This is a thoughtful program for these mums, with local Chapala and Ajijic volunteers knitting and donating items that are nice start for these new babies.
